Stonewell Cottages and Vineyards is a boutique waterfront retreat set on an expansive private vineyard estate in the heart of the Barossa. Just 1 hour drive from Adelaide and a short drive from Tanunda, the accommodation offers peace, privacy and seclusion in an idyllic location.
The two suites and two cottages, surrounded by vineyard, all with lake views, feature outdoor decks, cosy indoor wood fires, outdoor fire pits and luxury spa baths. The well equipped kitchens are stocked with fresh local produce for self-preparation breakfasts.
Sleep amid the vines, wake up to a long, lazy breakfast. Unwind in your candlelit spa, de-stress with an indulgent in-room massage. Feed the friendly ducks, enjoy a row on the lake, take a guided vineyard tour around the property or a leisurely bike ride along vine lined country roads. Relax in your private outdoor courtyard or on the deck overlooking the lake, sample local produce with a Barossa Food Basket or cook up a tasty dinner with a self cook BBQ pack. Sip a wine made from the vines surrounding your cottage as you watch the sunset over the water.

Stonewell – Cupids Cottage
Cupid’s Cottage is a one bedroom sandstone cottage which offers absolute privacy and seclusion, overlooking the lake, surrounded by vineyards and native trees.
Features include; sunken two person oval spa, pillow top king bed, kitchen/living area with lounge and armchair, cosy wood fire, air conditioning, new Smart 40 inch LCD television with Netflix for on-demand movies, Bose SoundTouch wireless speaker, free Wi-Fi, stylish fully equipped kitchen with dining table, granite benchtops, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Miele oven and cooktop, washing machine/dryer.
Outdoors is a private courtyard overlooking the lake with Weber BBQ, table and chairs, umbrella and sun lounges. The front verandah also has outdoor chairs with steps leading down to your own private row boat and a secluded outdoor fire pit area.
Stonewell Haven Spa Suites
The Haven Cottage consists of two suites overlooking the lake and vineyards.
Each suite has its own private facilities including queen bedroom leading out to a private spa room with large two person oval spa, kitchen/living area with two seater lounge and cosy wood fire, air conditioning, new Smart 40 inch LCD television with Netflix for on-demand movies, Bose SoundTouch wireless speaker, free Wi-Fi, stylish well equipped kitchenette with granite benchtop, table and chairs, Miele cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine.
Each suite has a private outdoor courtyard with Weber BBQ, table and chairs, umbrella and an outdoor fire pit area. At the front of the cottage is a large outdoor deck furnished with sun lounges, offering fantastic views over the lake and surrounding vineyards. There is also a row boat available.
Stonewell Hideaway Cottage
The Hideaway is a charming two bedroom bluestone cottage, situated right on the water’s edge, surrounded by vineyards.
Features include; two person spa, two bedrooms each with pillow top king beds (one can be split into two single beds), kitchen/living area with two lounges, cosy wood fire, air conditioning, new Smart 40 inch LCD television with Netflix for on-demand movies, Bose SoundTouch wireless speaker, free Wi-Fi, stylish fully equipped kitchen with dining table, granite benchtops, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, Miele oven and cooktop, washing machine/dryer.
