Surgeon’s Cottage is nestled between boutiques, galleries and cafes in the main street of the historical town of Morpeth. Built in 1945, this beautiful heritage home has been recently restored and has a warm and homely appeal.
The fully equipped cottage has two original log fireplaces, a comfortable living room and a covered seating area with a gas barbecue. The front of the cottage is bordered by a shady sandstone verandah making it the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and immerse yourself in the vibrant activity of Morpeth. Here you can also admire the view across the Hunter River and paddocks to the Brokenback Range in the distance.
The cottage is suitable for couples, families and groups such as bridal parties who’ll marvel at the photo opportunities available on-site and locally.

Surgeons Cottage
The Cottage is fully equipped and has ducted air-conditioning and two original log fireplaces.
There is a comfortable living room, 50-inch Television, DVD, stereo and extendable dining table.
Elegant bed linen complements the luxurious cast iron beds in the two bedrooms of the cottage. The master bedroom consists of a king bed, a log fireplace and a TV/DVD. The second bedroom offers the option of either two single beds or one king bed.
The kitchen is equipped with modern conveniences, including a dishwasher, fridge, ceramic cooktop, convection/microwave oven, a capsule coffee machine.
A large luxurious bathroom, with a shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries to pamper you.
There is a covered seating area with a gas barbecue in the fountain garden.
