TIM WATSON and TIM WILD are the distinctive voices and hit songwriters behind the internationally successful Australian rock band TAXIRIDE.

Beginning their songwriting partnership in late 1995, Watson and Wild helped create the sound that propelled Taxiride to multi-platinum success in Australia and internationally. Their powerful co-lead vocals and tight harmonies became a defining feature of the band’s biggest hits and live performances.

Tim Wild is a songwriting credit on every single Taxiride ever released and is the sole writer of the band’s breakthrough hit “Get Set.” Wild and Watson also share songwriting credits on two of the band’s biggest hits “Everywhere You Go” and “Creepin’ Up Slowly” the latter becoming the most-played song on Australian radio in 2002.

Taxiride achieved enormous success with the multi-platinum albums Imaginate and Garage Mahal, an ARIA Award, and seven Top 40 singles, including “Get Set” “Everywhere You Go” “Creepin’ Up Slowly” “Can You Feel” and “How I Got This Way.” The band toured extensively throughout Australia, the United States, Europe, Japan and India, including the 24/7 Tina Turner Tour, culminating in two sold-out performances at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Today the legacy continues with Taxiride featuring Tim Watson, Tim Wild, Sean McLeod, Andy McIvor and Ripley Smith, delivering the songs audiences remember with the original voices and songwriters who helped create the band’s success.
