Teusner Wines, established in 2001 by Kym Teusner and Mick Page, is a boutique winery situated in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. The venture began when Teusner and Page overheard a conversation in a local pub about the potential removal of 85-year-old Grenache vines. Recognizing the value of these ancient vines, they intervened, ensuring their preservation and marking the inception of Teusner Wines.

The winery’s philosophy centers on minimal intervention winemaking, emphasizing the unique characteristics of the Barossa’s old vines. Teusner Wines collaborates closely with local grape growers, many of whom have multi-generational experience, fostering relationships built on trust and mutual respect. This approach ensures the production of wines that authentically reflect the region’s heritage.
