The Arborist, a sophisticated wine bar and restaurant, is a staple of Little Malop Street in Geelong’s city centre.
Every element of this popular eatery has been thoughtfully designed. The colour palette of muted greens, blacks and earthy tones complements the large European Ash Tree that the venue has been built around. The bar is made from an ice green marble, while an entire wall is adorned in slimline vertical bricks and hosts a custom-made olive bench.
At the heart of this striking building executive chef Anthony Hammel and head chef Chantal Chenery and his team are putting their spin on Modern Australian cuisine by incorporating Middle-Eastern flavours into their dishes. Chantal’s a la carte menu is structured around a share plate approach, each dish is made to be shared, allowing visitors to sample a large variety of courses across their visit.
The Arborist’s beverage list has been carefully curated. From an extensive wine list to large selection of cocktails, the menu is designed to allow the visitors to choose their own experience. A trip to The Arborist might look like a many coursed lunch with wine but it could just as easily be a night of cocktails and grazing with friends.
The Arborist is open daily for lunch and dinner services.
