As part of the Water People exhibition, Victa Cinema presents a special screening of Tim Bonython’s Big Ocean- a powerful cinematic celebration of the ocean, surf culture, and the people drawn to its energy and extremes.
Renowned surf filmmaker Tim Bonython captures the raw beauty, force and spirituality of the sea through breathtaking imagery and intimate storytelling, making Big Ocean a compelling companion to the themes explored in Water People.
Produced by Tim Bonython Productions, the independent company behind some of the world’s most iconic surf films – including Biggest Wednesday, Blackwater, May Dayz, Immersion, and The Big Wave Project Parts 1 and 2 — this special screening reflects Bonython’s long standing commitment to documenting big wave surfing at its most awe inspiring and dangerous.
