Cleveland SeaLink To The North Stradbroke Island
We start our adventure with a ride on the SeaLink ferry from Cleveland. The ferry is the gateway to North Stradbroke Island. Enjoy the scenic views of Moreton Bay during the 45-minute ferry ride. You may even spot dolphins swimming alongside the boat.
North Stradbroke Island
Minjerribah, known also as North Stradbroke Island, is our main destination. Here you will be welcomed by beautiful beaches, rich aboriginal culture, and amazing wildlife. This island is famous for it’s natural beauty and calm atmosphere.
Dunwich Township
Our first stop on the island is Dunwich Township, a historic town that has been a main gateway to the island for centuries. Visit the North Stradbroke Historical Museum to learn more about the island’s past.
Point Lookout
Next, we visit Point Lookout, one of the best places on the island to enjoy sweeping ocean views. You can spot whales during migration season, and the sight of the waves crashing against the rocks is truly breathtaking. Don’t forget your camera!
North George Walk
For those who love nature walks, the North Gorge Walk is a must. This easy 1.2km trail takes you along the coast, where you can spot turtles, dolphins, and sometimes even manta rays. The views from the cliffs are amazing, and you’ll feel completely at peace.
Dunwich Ferry Terminal
After a day of exploring, we head back to the Dunwich Ferry Terminal to catch the ferry back to the mainland. It’s a relaxing end to a day filled with adventure and beauty.
