Since 1932, the Dog on the Tucker box has stood proudly beside the Hume Highway, becoming a much-loved stopping place for thousands of traveler’s. Originally established to support Gundagai Hospital, the site continues to contribute to its vital work through donations collected in the wishing well.

Over the decades, the Dog has been immortalized in song and story, standing as a tribute to the resilience and determination of the European pioneers who settled the region.
