The Globe Hotel in Rylstone is a classic Aussie country pub with deep roots and a big heart. Built in 1855, it remains the social hub of the town — where locals gather, travellers are welcomed, and there’s always a story being shared over a cold beer.
There’s live sport on the big screen, raffles and badge draws every week, and Sunday darts that bring in everyone from seasoned players to curious first-timers. Fires are lit when it’s cold, the beer garden’s buzzing when it’s warm, and the pub hums with the kind of character you only get in a small country town.
Upstairs, you’ll find 14 air-conditioned rooms. Clean, simple, and ideal for those staying overnight or making a weekend of it. Couples, families, solo travellers, all welcome.
In The Shed Bistro, the menu brings a modern take to classic pub fare. It’s driven by local produce, shaped by the seasons, and everything is made in-house — with care, from scratch, and with a nod to the region. It’s not about reinvention, just honest food done properly.
The Globe is the kind of place you walk into once and remember. Welcoming, grounded, and full of charm, just like Rylstone itself.
