Always wanted to try the pottery wheel but not ready to commit to a full course? This taster session is the perfect way to dip your hands into clay and see what it’s all about.

In this fun and relaxed two hour class, you’ll be guided through the basics of wheel throwing, including how to centre clay and form simple vessels. You’ll have your own wheel to work on, and by the end of the session you’ll have made two pieces to keep.

After class, Carys will trim and finish your best pieces for you, and you’ll choose from a selection of studio glazes (White, Green, Blue, or Toffee Brown) to have them glazed and fired. Your finished, food-safe ceramics will be ready for collection in around three – four weeks.
