Sip, swirl and savour a winemaker-chosen selection of six of their currently available wines. Especially want to try something else? Just ask.

Settle in by the floor-to-ceiling windows framing the vineyard. Or enjoy the fresh air on the verandah.

Craft your ideal platter from their “make your own platter” station full of local delights, perfect savoured with a glass or bottle on our lawns or on the tasting deck (if available).

Enjoy an unhurried tasting of the range and feel free to ask all your questions! Bookings are recommended for tastings.
Groups larger than eight are by special arrangement.
They do not take buses/mini buses.

Good to know before arrival:
Tasting fee is redeemable on the purchase of a Wine Club Membership.
Your tasting is at 67 Kays Road, McLaren Vale.
Allow 1 hour for your tasting and optional nibbles.
Includes filtered water and provision of spittoons.
Drink well – not to excess.

Expect extraordinary wines and an unpretentious atmosphere. In the winery Rob Mack’s skilled, gentle hands conjure extraordinary wines using minimal intervention. Wines are vegan and <100ppm sulphur. Red wines are unfiltered and unfined. Aphelion's resulting authentic McLaren Vale wines speak of their provenance while they match perfectly with the food you love, the climate, and your life’s best moments. They are the darlings of critics and consumers alike. Overlooking vineyards, bushland, and a lavender farm, the Aphelion Cellar Door invites lingering. A hardwood deck commands pride of place on the lawns. Delectable local produce is available for guests to create their ultimate selection at the "Make Your Own Platter" station.
