For those seeking to add a little beachside adventure, the Willunga to Aldinga bike track or the Coast to Vines Trail lead you to the glorious beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

This tour starts at Dandelion Wines and finishes at Beresford. You can choose to stay on at Beresford Wines at the conclusion of the tour, or we will transfer you back to Dandelion WInes.

From Beresford, a short section of road will bring you to the beginning of the Flat to Vale Trail, a stunning route that takes you through picturesque countryside. At the far end of the trail, join the Shiraz Trail, where you can choose to head into the vibrant McLaren Vale township or venture south towards the historic village of Willunga.

The route offers opportunities to visit several cellar doors along the way (additional wine tastings and food not included), allowing you to indulge in local flavors as you soak in the breathtaking scenery. Explore McLaren Vale by eBike, finishing your day at Dandelion Vineyards’ Wonder Room. Available 7 Days/ week including Public Holidays: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Start your McLaren Vale Experience from the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre and finish at Dandelion Vineyards. (Transport back to the Visitor Centre is not included). Ideal for those wishing to linger longer. This Experience gives you the opportunity to explore the region’s world-class wineries, scenic trails, and coast, and finish your ride at Dandelion Vineyards to make the most of the balmy summer evenings.

Watch the sun set from Dandelion Vineyards’ expansive lawns or from the stunning Wonder Room. Last wine tasting with food is at 5pm, last wine by the glass 5.45pm. Picnic lunch Friday-Sunday 11 – 2 (must book at least 24 hours prior), nibbles (cheese, olives and seasonal bites) available for purchase to accompany your wine any day.

Shiraz Trail eTukTuk Adventure – Ride, Sip & Picnic in Paradise!
Your journey begins at Oxenberry Farm, right on the iconic Shiraz Trail. Hop aboard your eco-friendly eTukTuk and head off along the Flat to Vale Trail, winding past picturesque vineyards and towering gum trees. Keep an eye out for blue wrens darting through the undergrowth, or koalas snoozing up in the branches of the trees.

For those looking to sip along the way, on weekends the delightful Foggo Wines cellar door beckons with beautiful lawns beneath shady gums, wines, spirits and cocktails as well as cheese and meat platters. On Saturday afternoons, a wine tasting at Nick Haselgrove Wines (at the end of the Flat to Vale Trail) is also an option. For those wanting to venture further afield, take a left at the end of the Flat to Vale Trail, and follow Blewitt Springs Road around to Beresford Tasting Pavilion or Woodstock Wines, both of which have plenty of food, wine and more to enjoy in beautiful settings.
