Walk the Limestone Coast is a specialised tour business delivering multi-day tours in the Limestone Coast, South East South Australia, the region is a one hour flight from Adelaide or Melbourne into the city of Mt Gambier or five hours drive from those capital cities and an extension of the Great Ocean Road.

Highlighting the untapped nature, adventure, food and drink of the region. We deliver a guided multi-day Camino walk and one or two day sightseeing tours including World Heritage Caves, Coonawarra Wine Region, the volcanic Blue Lake and beyond.

Company owner and tour leader, local Natasha Dawson has worked across the Limestone Coast Region for over 20 years.

This pilgrimage is inspired by the life and service of Australia’s only saint, Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and her mentor Father Julian Tenison Woods. This walk begins at Port MacDonnell where Mary boarded a boat to continue on her journey to sainthood. Over four days, you will walk across the Limestone Coast landscape to Penola.

On the final day, you will visit the Mary MacKillop Interpretative Centre, receive the final stamp on your passport and receive your Compostela.

Slow down and enjoy a pleasant walking pace as we traverse the landscape offering time to connect with yourself, others and nature.

The Limestone Coast of South Australia is a one-of-a-kind region where ancient volcanic craters, sapphire-blue lakes, dramatic sinkholes, and pristine beaches converge in a landscape unlike anywhere else in Australia.
Only a one-hour flight from Melbourne or Adelaide, Mount Gambier is located on the slopes of a dormant volcano, known for its stunning Blue lake and lush landscape punctuated with sinkholes. Beyond Mount Gambier the natural features and hidden wonders continue to the all the way to the coast.
