At The Sconery, they do a number of different baking classes to cater for different occasions. With all of their classes, they aim to create a fun and relaxing environment for all joining the class whether it be a hens night, kids class, couples class or a Corporate team building activity.

All classes go for 2.5-3.5 hours (kids classes 2.5 hours) with a 30 minute break where they will be served scones and refreshments. Everything you make, you take home that day.

The Sconery is located in Chippendale, only five minutes from Broadway Shopping Centre. There’s plenty of free parking nearby and it is easily accessible via public transport.

Cupcake Class

Join a fantastic chocolate cupcake class for couples to learn about the fundamental skills for creating a professional tasting and looking cupcake. At the end of the class you will take home half a dozen of beautiful cupcake creations and a recipe sheet. You will learn everything you need to know to ensure perfectly baked cupcakes time and time again.

The Chef will share all his knowledge and tips gained from years of baking and teaching.

Class duration is 2.5 hours including a 30 minute break where you will be treated to the signature scones, jam and cream and a beverage.

Kids Baking Parties

At the Sconery they run a number of different fun and creative baking classes for kids.

The kids can choose from Classic Vanilla or Chocoholic Cupcake or Cakepops classes, or take on dough making, gingerbread men, biscuit shapes and chocolate crackles in the Biscuits and Chocolate Crackles class.

The Sconery will supply the aprons, water and lollies for the kids. All kids will be supervised at all times in the kitchen. However, they do encourage the parents to come along so they can share this experience with their kids as well.

At the end of the class, the kids will all leave with their delicious creations!

Hens Parties

Looking for a hens party in Sydney? Looking for a classy hens party with no strippers? After a hens party for all age groups or a lesbian hens party ? Look no further as The Sconery welcome all hens.

They do a number of different baking classes to cater for hens parties. Classes run for either 2.5 hours or 3.5 hours. As with all hens baking parties, they aim to create a fun and relaxing environment for all ages joining the class.

The following classes are offered The Cupcake Class – Duration 2.5 hours or The High Tea Classics Class – Duration 3.5 hours.

Scone Baking Class

In this class you learn to make The Sconery’s signature scones, these include classic and fruited scones, scone rounds, scone danish and lemonade scones and of course jam and cream will be provided! You will learn everything you need to know to ensure perfectly baked scones time and time again.
