Located on the absolute riverfront at Tweed River’s beautiful Birds Bay, The Oyster Shed is a restaurant and bar that offers casual, relaxed waterfront dining that showcases the freshest of farm oysters and wild-caught local seafood, alongside Australian wine, local beers and their popular cocktail menu.

Your hosts are an oyster farming family. They offer you a rare opportunity to learn about their farm and dine on their own freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters – all while overlooking the oyster leases that are just a stone’s throw from shore.

The restaurant has several distinct seating areas and styles, which affords intimate dinners for couples, large family gatherings and party celebrations, or easy-breezy drinks and snacks at the riverside bar.

The amazing location and large and varied dining spaces make it an ideal venue for larger functions and business-based events.
