Regarded for decades as a Toowoomba icon, The Rock is synonymous with good times. Formerly ‘The Gladstone Hotel’ for over 100 years, our name pays homage to the original venue which locals endearingly referred to as the “happy rock”. Building on this heritage and adding another layer to its history, The Rock was transformed in 2020 repurposing and evolving the space. Now offering three distinct areas – a main bar and ground floor dining space, an inviting outdoor beer garden and an upstairs open-air ‘Top Bar’, The Rock is the perfect place to spend an entire afternoon, rolling merrily on into the night.

If you’re after a relaxed dining experience with great food and drinks, they’re here to serve the hungry and thirsty for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. On the menu, you will find all your favourite pub classics as well as moreish snacks and shared items. They’ll also make sure there is something to fill your glass with X beers on tap, a carefully curated wine list and a delicious seasonal cocktail menu.

The vibrant community watering hole is the perfect spot to have a good time: Whether it’s a quick catch-up, a meet-cute, a family hang, footy with mates, or a big celebration—it’s all here.
