Brisbane’s home of live jazz, fine cocktails, and soulful dining awaits behind a red door, down a dimly lit lane. Hidden from the noise of the city, The Ruby Jazz Club is Brisbane’s only true speakeasy jazz venue — an underground hideaway where the music hums late into the night. But shhhh… it’s our little secret.
Tucked away in the heart of Fortitude Valley, The Ruby showcases exceptional live jazz performances from both local and international artists, with a strong focus on emerging talent. Whether you’re a devoted jazz lover or discovering the genre for the first time, this intimate, 1920s-inspired space delivers an atmosphere that’s rich, vibrant, and unmistakably timeless.
Beyond the music, enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu alongside handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and an impressive collection of signature bourbons. One sip, one song, and you’ll feel transported straight to the Deep South — the very birthplace of jazz itself.
