Indulge in timeless luxury at The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins, nestled in Melbourne’s heart. After an extensive refurbishment, The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins has reunited with its rich heritage. The building has a vibrant history of owners, events and famous patronage. It has had many incarnations, from its origins in the 1880s, to its Art Deco reincarnation as The Alexander Hotel in the 1920s, to its time as Melbourne’s iconic Savoy Plaza in the 1960s.
The historic Palazzo exterior blends perfectly with the beautiful Art Deco style interior, featuring 163 spacious guest rooms, including six luxurious suites that boast beautiful views across the city. The rooms display a contemporary design that reflects the building’s Art Deco origins, dating back to its 1928 beginnings. Plush furnishings and lighting make the guest rooms feel spacious yet comfortable. The bathrooms have been completely modernised with a classic white subway tile and plenty of counter space.
A short walk to the Yarra Promenade, where first class dining and boutique shopping awaits. Crown Casino, with its delicious restaurants, exclusive shops and entertainment will keep you absorbed for hours. Here, you can have a flutter on the casino floor, indulge in fine food at hatted restaurants, or enjoy a range of live musical and comedic performances or enjoy the latest movies at the Village cinema complex.
