The Coonawarra Penola RSL will be hosting 2 pop-up versions of large art installations on tour from the Australian National Veterans’ Art Museum in Melbourne.
‘The Unknown Widow’ is a pop-up version is an interactive washing line with embroidered
handkerchiefs, each with a unique original epitaph written by a family for their loved one.
‘Home Sweet Home’ comprises multiple handmade books, small paintings, prints & artefacts sharing the stories of generations of families.
There will be an official opening of the exhibition and morning tea will be available.
