The Welcome Home is part of Longreach’s heritage precinct in Eagle Street. The Kinnon family have restored the 1920s hotel (which was built after a fire destroyed the original Welcome Home Hotel named to honour soldiers returning from the Boer war).
It’s an amazing part of the town’s pioneer history and now a great place to enjoy a coffee and quality, homestead-inspired cooking – breakfast and special evening dining options in the winter season (April to early October). There’s free Wi-Fi too.
Booking is required for evening dining options. (BYO)
