With sleek interiors by acclaimed hospitality designer Paul Kelly Design and a buzzing open kitchen, this Tamworth favourite is ideal for all-day dining. The Workshop Kitchen has been proudly serving quality food and wine since 1986 and is a benchmark for regional hospitality.
It’s the only venue in town open all day, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks until late—including public holidays.
Timeless fare with a modern twist is the hallmark of this light-filled, welcoming space. The menu features artisan bread, fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and Jack’s Creek Beef 8–9 MBS Wagyu Tri Tip cooked over a wood-fired grill. Fresh seasonal sides and vibrant salads round out the offering, while desserts like Sticky Date Pudding and Dark Chocolate Basque Cheesecake are hard to resist.
At dinner, premium Australian beef is chargrilled to perfection over local box wood on an authentic Argentine Parrilla Grill, enhancing each cut with delicious smoky flavour. Be sure to try the 2024 World’s Best Steak from Jack’s Creek.
A mix of flavours and techniques gives the menu a fresh, local, wood-fired edge. Add attentive service and a standout wine list—awarded 3 Glasses in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards—and you’ve got the perfect setting to sit back, relax and enjoy a polished dining experience in the heart of Tamworth.
