Want to get up and close with Tasmanian devils? Well now you can.

Aussie Ark’s Devils in the Wild tours are available monthly throughout the year. The tour is fully escorted by an Aussie Ark ranger and runs for 2.5 hours. Start your day off in Gloucester before heading to the world heritage listed Barrington Tops, where you’ll meet your guide for an introduction to Aussie Ark over morning tea at the Interpretation Centre. The tour guide then takes you to see the devils living in large, free-range enclosures. You will be able to enter a free-range enclosure and experience the rare opportunity to really get up close and personal with devils’ in a natural environment enclosure; and witness a communal feed to encourage wild behaviour. Finally, depending on the time of year you visit, you will even get the chance to hold and interact with the newest devil joeys.

Aussie Ark is located in the world heritage listed Barrington Tops which is the highest point of the Barrington Coast region. The Barrington Coast is famous for its forests, waterways and beaches as well as its 15 national parks and 63 state forests, nature reserves and conservation areas.

Aussie Ark’s “Devils in the Wild” tours are available monthly throughout the year. The tour is fully escorted by our Aussie Ark keeper and runs for 2.5 hours and starts off with an introduction of the project and the Tasmanian devil over morning tea at their Interpretation centre.

The tour will then take you on a journey where you will see the devils in their free-range enclosures. You will be privy to enter a huge free-range enclosure and experience a rare opportunity to really get up close and personal in the devil’s natural enclosure to witness a communal feed to encourage wild behaviour.

Finally, depending on the time of year you visit, you will even get the chance to hold and interact with their newest devil joeys.
