Buda brings the Traditional Arts Fair to Castlemaine. Set amongst the spectacular spring garden Buda will showcase traditional arts, cooking and gardening in as many varied forms as possible, in the spirit of the Leviny daughters. Embroidery, book binding, saffron, weaving, garden crafts, metalwork, felting, painting, jewellery, cooking, handmade body products, basket weaving and much more.
The fair will also feature handcrafted ice cream, coffee, a gourmet barbecue, Devonshire teas and light lunches. There will be something to satisfy every palate.
With three stages hosting free demonstrations, individual demonstrations at each stall, roving musicians and a special guest artist in residence, there will be plenty of entertainment and opportunities to learn. Families can enjoy children’s activities to keep the little ones engaged and entertained throughout the day. You can also take small guided tours of the house at various times throughout the day.
