These school holidays, Queensland Museum Cobb+Co becomes a buzzing construction zone where ordinary boxes turn into extraordinary creations. Using safe assembly tools like saws, scorers, screws and fasteners, kids can assemble, connect and create their own clever inventions. From secret spy gadgets to wearable designs, participants can take inspiration from the prototypes or bring their own ideas to life.
All materials are supplied, along with use of tools during the session. Tools remain in the workshop.
A sensory friendly session is available with limited tickets and reduced sound for a calmer experience.
Designed for ages 3-12. Children under 5 will require assistance from an adult. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
