Hervey Bay Dive Centre’s ‘Underwater Scooter Adventure Kayak & Snorkel Tour’ will unleash the child within as you embark on a marine journey you are unlikely to forget.
Explore and enjoy the sights of the marine world, both above and below the surface with their kayaks and underwater scooters. Their experienced guides and crew are on hand to assist you to have the most fun imaginable. This is as mild or wild as you want – dive below the surface for a close encounter of the marine kind or cruise on the surface if that suits you better.
The tour is a ton of fun and safe under the guidance of their fully qualified PADI Dive Instructors and Dive Masters.
The tour starts with a short boat ride from Urangan Harbour to one of their popular marine spots; following an induction of the safe and proper handling of the scooters, kayaks and snorkelling techniques they will take you on a tour and a wee bit of an adventure.
They utilise the currents and conditions to ensure the tour in enjoyable and not a too much of a chore.
Lunch and snacks will be served aboard between the various activities.

Great Sandy Strait Marine Park
The Great Sandy Marine Park extends from Baffle Creek in the north to Double Island Point in the south. It includes Hervey Bay, Great Sandy Strait, Tin Can Inlet and the waters off the east coast of Fraser Island, seaward to three nautical miles.
The Marine Parks assets include seagrass meadows, mangroves, rocky shores, reefs, sandy beaches, bays, sheltered channels, rivers, creeks and estuaries host a wealth of wildlife including whales, turtles, dugong, grey nurse sharks, fish, corals, birds and several diving opportunities, including Simpson and Hardie artificial reefs and the ex-HMAS Tobruk, to appreciate aquatic wildlife

Hervey Bay Dive Centre
The Hervey Bay Dive Centre is Hervey Bay’s premier marine and dive tour operator. The Hervey Bay Dive Centre is a “Best of Queensland” operator, a 5 Star PADI dive centre and TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence recipient.
Owned and operated by a local family with years of experience in the marine industry the centre prides itself on a personal experience, passionate and professional crew and a strong environmental approach.
The dive centre provides guided ex-HMAS Tobruk dives, 5 star PADI diver training, kayak, snorkel and underwater scooter tours and Hervey Bay’s dedicated swim with whales tour during the famous Hervey Bay Whale Watch season.
