This pets-inside getaway is on the beach side of quirky, foodie Port Elliot, one of the Fleurieu’s quaintest heritage villages. It’s a short walk to the beaches (Boomer and Horseshoe Bay), the cafes and shops on The Strand, the famous Port Elliot Bakery and Hotel Elliot. Park your car in the long driveway and leave it there. Or park your boat and get out on the water.

There’s a big, grassed area out back with plenty of shade, a secure fenced yard (1.8m high) and a covered BBQ deck. The front yard is newly landscaped and a mecca for birds. Hardwood floors and coastal décor (tempered blues and greys with a splash of lush green) lend a beachy feel throughout. There’s NBN, Xbox and streamed entertainment in the living area, with a cosy cottage kitchen and mod cons.

Pet Let welcomes well-behaved pets inside year-round. Just bring a cover for the furniture. Everything else is provided. There will be fresh, quality linen on the beds ready for your arrival, courtesy of Pet Let’s housekeeping service, as well as local wine and chocolate. This three bedroom holiday shack sleeps six.
