Lovers of antiques and collectables can make a beeline to the Victory Theatre Antique Centre in Blackheath, housed in a former 1915 Art Deco double-storeyed Picture Palace.
More than 50 dealers fill well-lit shops and cabinets with traditional 19th and 20th Century items of furniture, ceramics, lighting, art and posters, music, militaria, timepieces, figurines, toys, vintage clothing, jewellery, table and glassware and Australiana. A life-size iron replica of Ned Kelly’s suit of armour greets you in the gallery upstairs.
The popular Victory Café in the foyer, with sunlit outdoor seating offers generous breakfasts and delicious family-friendly seasonal lunches.
