Upgrade your journey aboard the Mary Valley Rattler with the VIP Lounge Experience, a premium way to enjoy one of Queensland’s most iconic heritage rail journeys near the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.

Departing from the historic Gympie Station, this first-class experience includes priority boarding and reserved seating in the exclusive VIP Lounge carriage. Travel in comfort on a scenic 40km return journey through the picturesque Mary Valley, passing rolling farmland, forests and charming country towns.

During the journey, enjoy a locally sourced tasting plate served onboard by your personal carriage host, along with engaging commentary about the railway and surrounding region. Bar facilities are also available throughout the trip.

At Amamoor, guests can disembark to watch the locomotive turn on the historic railway turntable and enjoy time to explore the village green before returning to Gympie.

On return, the experience continues with lunch at Rusty Rails Café, including your choice from the set menu and a beverage.
