Play ping pong in the great outdoors all year round by visiting Waikerie’s outdoor ping pong table. Located within the Waikerie Water & Nature Play Park, this game will provide lots of fun for the whole family.

Apart from the enjoyment, ping pong has many benefits. There’s opportunity to socialise and meet new people. It’s a fantastic way to gain focus, improve hand and eye coordination and concentration. Outdoor ping pong provides cardiovascular and strength training too. So why not get fit and stay in shape by playing this fun game while enjoying the tranquil setting with the River Murray as the backdrop.

Local artists, Liz and Clint Frankel were engaged to paint Waikerie’s outdoor ping pong table after submitting their design to Loxton Waikerie Council’s online community survey. The design is their interpretation of ‘Healthy River, Healthy Community’ featuring citrus, flying swans and yabbies. This design was chosen as the successful winner by the community.

The bats and balls are in a strongbox next to the table. Please ensure these items are returned to the box so everyone can enjoy outdoor ping pong.
