Escape to Wauita Retreat, a private, elevated holiday home on K’gari (Fraser Island), offering space, comfort, and sweeping water and sunset views.
Set within Kingfisher Bay Resort, the home combines the privacy of a standalone retreat with access to resort facilities, including outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, and a range of dining options. Positioned high in the resort, it’s the perfect place to enjoy peaceful bushland surroundings, spectacular sunsets, and clear, star-filled skies, all with a sense of space and seclusion.
Wauita Retreat accommodates up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, with two spacious living areas and direct access to a large 18-metre deck. Designed for families and group getaways, it offers plenty of space to relax, unwind, and reconnect.
Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and outdoor dining area, pool table, unlimited free Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities. Basic baby equipment, including a cot and highchair, is also available.
Easy level parking is provided, and the retreat is a short drive to iconic island attractions including Lake McKenzie and 75 Mile Beach.
Bed configuration: Bedroom 1 features a queen bed with deck access and ensuite. Bedroom 2 includes a queen bed with deck access. Bedroom 3 offers a queen bed and bunk beds with ensuite. Bedrooms 4 and 5 each include a queen bed.
