Wallalong House is a Hunter Valley wedding venue located near the gorgeous town of Morpeth, two and a quarter hours north of Sydney in the Hunter Valley region. The tone is set on arrival at the front gates which have been custom-made to replicate the original ironwork on the property and are fully electronic.
As they open, your eyes are drawn along the pear tree-lined driveway across to the rustic 1830s stables which have the original cobblestone flooring and decorative iron rails, purchased from the Crystal Palace Exhibition in London in 1854.
The front of this amazing single-level country homestead presents wide sweeping verandahs and wrought iron columns. A splendid mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture, the home sits proudly amongst four massive one hundred and ninety year old fig trees with breathtaking views of the surrounding farmland.
