Weindorfers Forest Walk is a walk in Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park.

20 minute circuit, 750m circuit. Grade 2.

​​​Perfect for families, this lovely stroll takes you through a beautiful rainforest, where you’ll see ancient King Billy pines, pandani and Tasmania’s renowned deciduous beech (​Fagus).

The track leaves from Waldheim chalet and takes an easy grade through the forest. Take your time to view the displays in the rustic chalet to catch a brief look at the life of the Weindorfers, who played a key role in the preservation and history of this area.
