Welcome to Werong Cottage. This gorgeous cottage built in 1958 is situated in the heart of an established third-generation working family farm. It is the perfect spot to base yourselves to explore both rural Australia and close enough for a day trip easily to Canberra, the national capital.
Great for groups of friends wanting to tour the local Murrumbatemen wineries or families keen to make memorable school holidays. They are 10 minutes from historic Cooma Cottage and 15 minutes from Yass, the fine wool capital of the world, perfect for supplies, coffee, a lovely local bakery or a visit to the pub!
Werong Cottage has five bedrooms, two bathrooms with baths and two living areas accommodating large groups perfectly. It has a lovely open planned kitchen. The large open fire is set for guests creating a cosy atmosphere for those chilly winter eves.
It has ducted heating and air conditioning throughout to further ensure guest’s comfort. Surrounded by a fence, Werong Cottage has a large garden with a firepit and barbeque for guests to use overlooking undulating paddocks, where guests can wander and collect fresh farm eggs during their stay.
