Yellow Cottage is an original brick cottage built in 1870, renovated in a comfortable provincial style.
The cottage is fully self-contained accommodation, which includes the comfort of an open fire in the winter as well as central heating and cooling. It features a fully equipped kitchen, large open plan living and dining area adorned by original art works, two bedrooms, a queen bed and two single beds, to suit both couples and families.
Yellow Cottage is surrounded by a large Mediterranean-style garden, located in the village of El Dorado, nestled in a picturesque valley downstream from Beechworth in North East Victoria. For travellers there is easy access from the Hume Highway and the Great Alpine Road. Nearby is the Milawa Gourmet and Rutherglen region, renowned for world class wineries and gourmet food, as well is the historic towns of Beechworth, Chiltern and Bright providing the visitor with a multitude of cultural and outdoor experiences, including cycling.
