Nestled in the heart of Byron Bay on Bundjalung Country, Lone Goat Gallery is a must-visit destination for art lovers and curious travellers alike. Just a short stroll from Main Beach, and conveniently located near Jarjumirr Skate Park and alongside the Byron Library, the gallery celebrates the creativity, individuality, and vibrant spirit of the Northern Rivers arts community, showcasing both emerging and established artists from the region and beyond.

Named after the last lone goat of Cape Byron Headland, the gallery embodies the curiosity, uniqueness, and the creative energy of the Northern Rivers. Visitors can explore ever-changing exhibitions, attend artist talks, join immersive workshops, or take guided tours. Lone Goat Gallery also presents exhibitions that share and celebrate First Nations storytelling, deepening connections with Country and culture.

As a creative initiative of Byron Shire Council, the gallery provides a welcoming space for the whole family. With free two-hour parking, accessible facilities, and a range of free art activities for kids, visiting is as easy as it is enjoyable.
