Description
A mountain of experiences with Bogong Horseback Adventures jammed into four days. Riding the best of the High Country, camping at the bushranger Bogong Jack’s hideout. Canter to the top of the Bluff where you can view Mount Feathertop and Mount Fainter at just over 6,000 feet. Ride onto Pretty Valley and the sweet pastures of the Bogong Brumbies.
This ride offers spectacular views and delicious campfire meals. Then the expedition descends back into the Valley of the Kiewa via Big Hill to all the comforts of Spring Spur, swapping your swag for a luxurious bed and delicious home cooked dinner.

Highlights
Mount Fainter Summit
Explore the stunning riding terrain of the Victorian High Country, including a traverse to the summit of Mount Fainter South (1883 metres).
This itinerary journeys up the West Kiewa River valley and into heritage gold mining country, following old tracks cut into the mountains 150 years ago. Continuing up Westons Spur and onto the High Plains. The ride travels beneath the rocky outcrop of the Jitmathangs then onto Mount Fainter South and down to Bogong Jacks Hideout camp. The final day descends down into the Kiewa Valley and to the home paddock at Spring Spur.
