Punkah Pantry is a licensed café and providore in the heart of Porepunkah, perfectly placed across the road from the Ovens River and right by the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.

It’s an easy-going place to pause and refuel, whether you’ve just finished a swim in the river, rolled in on two wheels or are out exploring with the family. Kids can celebrate the day with a gelato or milkshake, while grown-ups settle in with freshly roasted Commonfolk coffee or a well earned cold drink.

Cyclists are especially welcome. There’s a large bike rack, complimentary bike locks, a floor pump for quick tune-ups and plenty of local trail advice if you’re planning your next leg. On cooler days, grab a blanket and keep warm while you relax outside and watch the world roll past.

The menu is packed with comfort and flavour. Think homemade pies and sausage rolls, locally made sweet treats, rich hot chocolates and easy snacks for the road ahead.

Punkah Pantry is just a five-minute drive or a relaxed 20-minute ride along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail from Bright. An ideal stop to rest, refuel, and savour the best of the region.
