Alice’s Cottages provides accommodation in the historic heart of Launceston, Tasmania. Hidden down a leafy lane, the cluster of cottages were once early 19th century workers’ cottages.
Choose from seven delightful cottages. Each cottage can accommodate two guests and are decorated with individual themes. The cottages have self-catering kitchens . The four poster beds, deep cast-iron or spa bathtubs and ample heating / cooling provide a cosy atmosphere for couples. Pamper yourself in the spacious spa or relax on the generous sofa in the Irish or Welsh Cottages.
Be transported to another time while pottering around amongst the memorabilia of the English or Scottish cottages. Immerse in another world in the French, Outlander or Ironbark cottages.
Visit Launceston’s finest restaurants, many within easy walking distance. Spend time exploring the Tamar Valley Wine Route and taste some of Tasmania’s finest cool climate wines. Pack a picnic and enjoy one of Launceston’s peaceful city parks or wander over to the Old Launceston Seaport.
