A 90 minute tour on the Gippsland Lakes by either Stand Up Paddleboard or Kayak. Tours depart from the shop on the Esplanade, usually paddling to view the Entrance channel, discover some local history and see if you can spot any seals or dolphins. This tour paddles up to 3 kilometres, with approximately 30 minutes paddling each way and a stop off and walk at the Entrance. The tour is beginner friendly and includes skills instruction for those new to the activity.

Venture Out is based on the beautiful Gippsland Lakes in Lakes Entrance and specialises in riding and paddling experiences. Take part in the tours or just hire the gear for a self-guided adventure. Ride the waterfront cycle paths with their option of one to two hours bike hire. Go for a half day ride into the forest and along the Rail Trail to finish with a lunch at Tambo Valley Honey cafe in Bruthen and return by shuttle. Learn some new skills on the Simply Singletrack mountain bike tour. Choose from the range of electric or mountain bikes.
Join a Kayak or Stand Up Paddle (SUP) tour to see the iconic Entrance and spot the seals and dolphins, best viewed at sunset. Make it a half day self-guided adventure to Paddle and Dine at Wyanga Winery, with lunch included. Venture Out cater for a range of ages and experience levels. For beginners, skills instruction is included. Also on offer are unique packages with other local businesses to make your visit memorable, such as the Heli SUP tour with Lakes Entrance Helicopters and Paddle and Plunge with Metung Hot Springs.
Most tours and hire depart from the Venture Out shop, right across the street from the lake.
