The Waikerie Memorial Gardens is an attractive garden dedicated to those local residents who served their country at times of conflict.
Thirty jacaranda trees were planted in memory to local men who served in WW2 and did not return home with a commemorative plaque situated below each tree.
The park also features a war memorial which is the site of local ANZAC day ceremonies each year and features a historic field gun on display.
With the addition of attractive bench seating donated by the local RSL club and public toilet facilities the The Waikerie Memorial Gardens is the perfect place to sit and reflect on the sacrifice of the brave men and women who gave their lives in service.
