Operation information

Urth Clay Studio Burnside

Urth Clay Studio is the first modern pottery studio in South Australia that believes in the therapeutic effect of clay.

Every Friday they offer a social clay session at their vintage Burnside studio, either hand-building or working on the pottery wheel.

The studio is located in a charming park hidden behind the pathway, this pottery experience was designed to help create a happy place for people to join in, have a laugh, and de-stress. Dig your hands in and get dirty, use mindfulness, and be immersed in the experience. Enjoy the moment and create a piece of work, whether it be a pot, sculpture, or a smiley face.

This popular one-off pottery session is full of fun, laughter, and positivity.

They encourage you to fully embrace the process of making your own ceramic pieces and allow it to heal your mind and soul.

They will walk you through simple yet creative steps to create, decorate, and colour them and will glaze and fire your pottery pieces for you after the workshop, to collect later.
