Discover the joy of Italian cooking with Pasta Like Nonna Makes, one of Fleurieu Food and Wine’s award-winning cooking classes and a favourite for visitors wanting a hands-on culinary experience on the Fleurieu. Hosted at the picturesque Chapel Hill winery, this class celebrates the beauty of traditional pasta making in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Guided by Jackie Mazzocato, you will learn how to turn simple ingredients into silky pasta dough before rolling, shaping and crafting it into classic ribbons, sheets and filled creations. Jackie is joined by John Mazzocato, who shares his North Italian family recipe and the traditions passed down through generations. Together they bring warmth, skill and story to every step of the process.

Their cooking school brings people together through immersive, small-group classes that inspire confidence and a love of real food. Explore their signature Mozzarella and Halloumi workshops, Pasta Like Nonna Makes, Gnocchi Making, Sausage Making, Gluten Free Pasta, the Hibachi Steak Masterclass and the flavour-packed Spice Up Your Life class. Each experience is guided by Jackie Mazzocato with visiting guest chefs adding their own expertise and flair to selected events.

They host their classes and events at venues across the Fleurieu Peninsula, each bringing its own personality to the experience.
