Built in 2014 and opened in August 2014, the Crossroads Ecomotel is Port Augusta’s newest motel. Situated at the junction of the Eyre and Stuart Highway and rated Number 1 Motel on Tripadvisor since 2015.
The 22 studio style rooms feature modern ensuite bathrooms, King Beds, kitchenette with microwave, kitchen utensils, reverse cycle air conditioners, 65 inch smart TV and a leather sofa, desk and chair and outside table and chairs for drinks on the deck area.
Built from environmentally sustainable products, the Crossroads Ecomotel combines rammed earth walls with a heavily insulated and airtight building envelope to keep the heat and noise out and comfort in. The 30 square meter rooms are well-appointed and have a large deck area (7m2) with double glazed sliding doors to allow the room to cross ventilate.
Free and fast Wi-Fi is available and there is ample secure parking with room for trailers. A large al-fresco barbecue area is perfect for groups. The guest laundry has a large washer and dryer.
There are two dedicated pet friendly rooms where pets are allowed (one pet per room) as well as rooms that cater to families and people with disabilities.
Conveniently located on the west-side entrance to Port Augusta and within walking distance to local pubs, restaurants and take away food outlets.
