Sherwood Cottage is located on 15 acres of lush grounds and although the gardens are still being developed, we boast a majestic 100+ year old oak tree (Quercus robur) reportedly grown from an acorn originated from Sherwood Forrest, England. The private residence ‘Sherwood Cottage’ is noted on the City of Albany Heritage Inventory. Post WW11 period, it is a charming rural Australian style cottage constructed of weatherboard timber and corrugated iron roof.
