Itinerary highlights

Busselton Jetty – Historic Train Ride and Underwater Observatory

Our first ‘Must-See’ attraction. Extending 1.841 kilometres over the protected waters of Geographe Bay, the heritage-listed Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and home to one of six Underwater Observatories in the world!
Allow up to 2 hours for a full train ride and an underwater observatory tour.

Ngilgi Cave Ancient Lands Experience

One of 6 caves in the region catering to tourists, this is our favourite for most families. After a native bushland walk, you enter the well-lit cave, walking up and down 350 steps while admiring the cave’s natural beauty. A souvenir shop, nature playground and kid’s cave tunnel are just some of the facilities that complement the cave.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

This is the smaller of two lighthouses in the region at just 59 steps, making it great for smaller children (4+ years old). Both the lighthouse and the trails exploring the local area offer spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and approaching sunset. During September-December, whales can be sighted on their migration through Geographe Bay.

Jewel Cave

The largest show cave in WA with immense caverns and towering crystal formations. Like Lake Cave, Jewel is best for older children as it has 250 steps and 1 hour guided tours.

Hamelin Bay Ray and Dolphin Spotting

Hamelin Bay has numerous tiny islands, reefs and beautiful clear waters. It is well known for the stingrays that patrol the shallows.

A great spot for children to run and swim. Dolphins and rays can be spotted roaming the shallow waters.

The Berry Farm – Meal and Tastings

Choose from various platters and meals while you sample fruit wines, liqueurs, preserves or jams, made from local produce. 3 playgrounds and farm animals will keep the kids company while you peruse the gourmet goods.

Gabriel Chocolate

Gabriel Chocolate import the world’s best raw cacao beans and turn them into fine quality single-origin chocolate bars at their custom-built chocolate gallery in the Margaret River wine region. Their single-origin chocolate bars enhance the naturally-occurring flavour profiles of different cacao bean varieties. Indulge yourselves in a (anti-oxidant packed) holiday treat or find the perfect gift for your foodie friends, family and clients.
