Want to feel the vastness of the outback without having to drive for hours? Here at Leander you’ll find wide open spaces, red dirt, blue skies and great views, and it’s only 20 minutes from town. Sit back after a long day of exploring all Longreach has to offer, look up at a blanket of stars and feel like you’re the only people on earth. Leander is a goat property located on a red sand ridge about 25 kilometres from Longreach, Qld. Toby, Georgia, and their two kids farm Rangeland/Boer Goats and also have a small herd of Wagyu cows. The site is completely self-sufficient with no amenities, so please make sure this suits your camping setup. Please note this is a working property – there may be stock around and there is lots of native wildlife. Pets are welcome but we ask you be mindful and they be kept on a leash at all times.
