It all began on the back of a bright orange 1972 VW Kombi named Gertrude.
Unexpected Guest Distillery has been producing award-winning gin since 2019, spanning a range of styles and vibes to accompany your next unforgettable party.
In 2023, the Kombi was parked at a funky fresh warehouse space in the heart of Marrickville, and the cellar door and bar finally came to life. Unexpected Guest Distillery is the perfect place to sample our gins, enjoy creative cocktails, soak in the tunes, catch up with friends, or grab a bottle or two to enjoy at home.
Unexpected Guest’s cellar door and bar is open from Thursday to Sunday and is located in the heart of Marrickville’s craft beverage precinct. Special events run often including Masterclasses, Trivia and Tasting Nights. Check out the socials for further details.
