When Port Farm first appears on the horizon it could easily be mistaken for a farm shed. Perched high on a hill above the coastal village of Port Campbell, this newly built corrugated iron farmhouse gives nothing away until you reach the front door. It is here that your eyes are met by expansive views of farmland and the wild Southern Ocean. Step inside, switch off and experience the Great Ocean Road differently.
Built to weather storms, this thoughtfully designed off-grid home features cosy and luxurious interiors carefully selected to help you reconnect with each other and nature. Each of the three bedrooms features a large window so you can take in and appreciate the drama of this rugged coastline, known the world over for its famous rock formations and shipwreck history. Birds and native wildlife can often be seen hovering, hopping and swooping right in front of the house. At night, the stars shine brightly and the lights of Port Campbell almost feel within arm’s reach.
Slow down. Breathe deeply. Sample local produce. Soak in the outdoor bathtub or reconnect with friends around the outdoor fire. No matter how you spend your time here, a stay at Port Farm is an antidote for the busyness of day-to-day life.
