Itinerary highlights
Long Lunch in Coffin Bay
Begin your journey with a breathtaking scenic flight over Australia’s southern coastline—where red outback meets turquoise ocean and jagged cliffs clash with crashing swells. Approaching the Southern Eyre Peninsula, look for tuna farms, fishing boats, and even the shadow of a great white shark.
Touching down in Coffin Bay, you’ll be greeted by sparkling waters lined with oyster farms. Explore Coffin Bay National Park, where kangaroos, emus, reptiles, and birdlife thrive among coastal cliffs and pristine white beaches. Morning tea, paired with local wines, is served in a picturesque wilderness setting.
Enjoy a seafood lunch at Coffin Bay 1802 Oyster Bar (or similar), with views of the town’s iconic oyster leases. In the afternoon, cruise with a local oyster farmer to The Brothers islands. Watch for dolphins, seals, and seabirds along the way.
Shuck and taste oysters fresh from the sea while learning about sustainable farming practices. The region is also rich in paleontological history, with fossils of extinct kangaroos and giant birds found on the islands. After a day of nature, flavour, and discovery, return to the airport for your onward flight.
