It’s the last day of Horizon, so let’s go out with a bang! Horizon Dance Hall is a free, all-day, all-ages celebration of music, movement and community.

Step into Hungerford Hall in Nambour as it transforms into a vibrant stomping ground of dance styles from around the world. Start the day with Sunshine Coast’s First Creatives, then buckle up as host Nicky Wilkinson (Funny Coast Comedy) takes you on a rollicking ride of performances, demos and hands-on workshops.

Kick up your heels with the bootscooting Footloose Fun, then dive into Bollywood with Dance Masala. The energy keeps building with the raw, Ipswich-born hip-hop of Flood by GroveMindz, Afro-Brazilian samba from Tropicalia Studios, swing with RocknRollaBillys, and bush dance with Swag & Fiddle Bush Dance Band. Sunshine Troupe will have you skipping and swerving through a joyful pop-up session of country tunes.

To round out your dance card, Sydney’s Saddle Club invite you into their world of queer line dancing to fresh pop anthems, before closing out the night with a magic-hour DJ set.
